This Elephant Disappears and Something Surprising Happens !
At the Tarangire National Park in Tanzania, experts were following really closely an elephant called Eloise.
She disappeared to the great displeasure of the experts.
They certainly weren’t expecting what was going to happen next !
A sudden change
While he was observing Eloise as usual, Charles Foley noticed a change in behaviour from the elephant.
She was acting in a slower way than usual. Usually friendly, she didn’t have that much interaction with the other members of the herd.
Charles Foley initially thought it was due to the heat, but time was flying and Eloise’s behaviour wasn’t improving, worrying the experts. The only positive sign was that although she was tired, she wasn’t losing weight and was still eating. Charles Foley knew that this type of behaviour appeared when an elephant is pregnant, but it was impossible for an elephant with an advanced age like Eloise.
