If you feel your home resembles a hobbit house, a great way to lift the height of the room is by using what professionals refer to as ‘the fifth wall’, which can refer to either the floor or the ceiling. Having some form of design, texture or wallpaper on the roof will make it look higher than it actually is, while having some detail on the floor will extends the space visually.
