The Worst Shark Attacks Ever!
Despite our fear of sharks, the chances of getting attacked by a shark are 1 in 3 million in comparison with the 1 in 100 chance of getting hit by a car.
Sharks are often described as violent and aggressive beasts that are out to get mankind, but the fact that there has been a mere 60 fatal attacks between 2007 and 2016 betrays this idea.
However, sharks will always remain a deeply embedded fear in us, nobody wants to die by being devoured by one of these gigantic and terrifying creatures.
Here are the worst attacks of these monsters of the deep:
A Shock on La Seyne, 1909
Near Singapore, a french boat called ” La Seyne” had to navigate itself through thick fog and subsequently crashed into a British boat called “Onda”. The two boats went down into the water and it didn’t take the sharks a long time to surround the people the passengers: it is estimated that around 100 people were killed by those sharks that day.
