Despite our fear of sharks, the chances of getting attacked by a shark are 1 in 3 million in comparison with the 1 in 100 chance of getting hit by a car.
Sharks are often described as violent and aggressive beasts that are out to get mankind, but the fact that there has been a mere 60 fatal attacks between 2007 and 2016 betrays this idea.
However, sharks will always remain a deeply embedded fear in us, nobody wants to die by being devoured by one of these gigantic and terrifying creatures.

Shark Attacks Young Surfer
One afternoon during the summer of 2015, a young surfer Elio Canestri, who was 13 years old, left a note for his mother saying his was going surfing with his friends. While the gang was surfing, a shark attacked Elio in the right hand side of his body. A boat arrived to help them get out of the water, but it was too late and he died moments later of a hemorrhage.
