Clean the drain
Sprinkle a half cup of baking soda down the bathtub drain and follow it up with one cup of white vinegar to get rid of any smells. Let the baking soda sit in the drain for about 5 minutes and the vinegar fizz for about 10 minutes. Rinse it through with boiling water.
