Every year since the year 1985, People magazine have been picking one man that deserves to be crowned " Sexiest Man of the Year".
This "competition" takes a lot more into account other than just their handsome good looks, they are also judged for their personalty and also their actions ( what charities they get involved in etc) .
Here are the sexiest men of the year as ranked by People magazine from the years 1990 to 2017:
1997 - George Clooney
In 1997, George was getting a lot of attention for his success in ER, and also for films such as The Peacemaker.
While clearly he is a great actor, we could say it's a safe guess that his charm was something to do with it!
