In our everyday lives we cross bridges all the times without giving it much thought at all, however when we have to cross a bridge consisting of rickety wooden planks and cords, with a threatening drop below,then we certainly are aware of the bridge we are crossing!
Some of these bridges have been around for a very long time, and some have been reconstructed after the damage from storms and floods.
From giant American bridges to bridges made out of bamboo in Vietnam, these bridges are probably the most dangerous in the world, so be careful when crossing!
Royal Gorge Bridge- Colorado, USA
This bridge, the highest in the world none the less, has become a real tourist attraction.
The bridge stands at 291 meters above the Arkansas River and has an impressive length of 365 meters. Previously when cars were allowed to pass, only one could make its way through as the bridge is only 5 meters wide!
