The First People Climb Mount Everest?
Here is Geogre Mallory and Sandy Irvine at their camp in Mount Everest in 1924.
Neither of these men came back down the mountain, so this is the last photo before they disappeared.
This photo shows these two adventurers during their attempt to be the first people to climb Mount Everest.
Nobody knows whether Mallory or Irvine managed to complete the climb or not before they died, it is still being researched today.
