Every species has a different visual perception, our eyes aren't all constructed in the same way,  we all have varying numbers of cone cells in our eyes allowing use to see different color ranges.

Some animals have large fields of vision, and they can even see more colors than us ...

Dogs

For a long time we thought that dogs saw in black and white only. Although they only have two visual cones ( humans have 3), dogs can make out certain colors, especially yellow and blue.

It is more difficult for them to make out red and green for example. They can see the world from 280° , where as we can only see from 180°.
