1. Mean Girls (2004) & Mean Girls 2 (2011)
Easily one of the most iconic films after the turn of the millennium, Mean Girls brought us a brilliant cast including Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, Tina Fey & Amy Poehler, as well as valuable lessons one should know when entering high school. Its sequel however… well hands up who saw it? Because we did, and it was terrible.
How can you not love Shrek the ogre, and Princess Fiona, the princess who was torn between her natural beauty and staying an ogre. The Shrek film series was just like most other series of its kind; progressively getting worse. The second one was pretty fun and did introduce us to Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots, (which then had its own spin-off film), but after that it was rather downhill.8.
