Nowadays we’re always online, and carry the web everywhere we go using the phones in our pockets. The sheer pace at which the Internet has developed though, is absolutely staggering, especially when you consider how it used to look and function just 20 years ago. 17. It Took FOREVER

Nowadays, songs download in seconds, but in the 90s you could leave five going all night and come back in the morning to find only two were successful, one is still going and the other two failed. Luckily our dedication and attention spans were pretty good back then. By contrast, in 2017 50% of internet users quit waiting for a video to load after just 10 seconds.
