We all love to think that love itself will last forever. Our fairy tales taught us that the prince & princess live happily ever after. But it’s definitely not the case for all couples, and under the watchful eye of the media, some celeb couples really don’t last forever. Over the years, these 35 couples have worked together in film or through song, but sadly their off-screen and off-stage relationship didn’t have the magical ending we all hoped for.
1. Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt
No other couple saddened us as much as Brangelina. They filmed Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), and dated shortly after. Angie gave birth to their twins, they raised six children together and had a 12-year relationship that seemed legit. They also filmed By The Sea (2015) but separated in 2016.
10. Rihanna & Chris Brown
This one will always be that little bit on edge. Dating from 2007, unfortunately their relationship took a domestic violent turn when CB physically assaulted RiRi, after attending a pre-Grammy party in 2009. He was charged with felony assault & battery and criminal threats, though was released on bail and received no jail time. Years passed and then “Birthday Cake (Remix)” (2012) and “Nobody’s Business” (2012) were released, duets with one another that confused the world, and led them to sit together at that year’s Grammys. But they broke up again...so really, who knows!
