Wash berries in vinegar
Berries are generally the most expensive fruit but also, tragically, the quickest to go mouldy. You can however, prolong their life by giving them a vinegar bath. Mix 1 cup of vinegar and 3 cups of water. This kills mold spores and bacteria, but just be sure to dry them thoroughly before storing.
